Update: animals need homes from NC lab, how to...
I just called Cathy at AWI.
She said the animals will actually be going to shelters first and won’t be directly adopted.
If anyone knows any shelters in NC or VA (or neighboring states) that would be willing to take some of the animals PLEASE have them call or email her ASAP!

Below is all I’ve been able to find out so far. I’ve emailed the woman listed asking for more information about the adopters they’re looking for, what animals are available, and when they will be available.
I’ll post any information she sends me.
These animals need to be adopted from PLRS Lab in North Carolina, and the cats in particular are looking for forever homes....

With the honeymoon coming up soon, I thought I should map out the places/things we might want to see in each city.
Those of you that heard about my house hunt a few years ago also, no doubt, heard about the lovely google map I made to help me remember what was where. It was ridiculous. (If you haven’t seen it yet, you should at least load it. Its amusing.)
