while we were down in Auburn I saw some of the cutest college themed stuff, and got kinda sad that we dont have awesome stores, like Tiger Rags and Auburn Art, for NCSU stuff… so that got me looking for cute NCSU things.

I’ve been pining for a moravian star christmas stocking for several years now.  does anyone have any clue where i could find one?  or know someone whos skilled at crafts who would be willing to make one for me (of course I could gladly compensate them for their work)?

i could probably make do with a moravian candle one if need be.  but a star is what i really want.

i’m open to decent patterns too, if anyone knows where i could find them.  i’ve wanted a moravian star stocking for several years, so i’d be willing to attempt to learn to crochet, knit, quilt, etc… just enough to make myself a stocking.  or try and get my mom to do it, lol.

this is the only moravian stocking I’ve been able to find, and it really isn’t what I’m looking for.

 I’ve always loved this picture of a moravian star.  If I’d ever caved in for another tattoo it would have been this.  Probably in whites, grays, yellows, etc.. though instead of purples and blues.

ok, I know I’m an awful person because we’ve been dragging ass on writing out wedding thank yous.  yes, the wedding that was almost 7 months ago.

i really am grateful for the gifts, i just hate writing thank yous for some reason.
